Jennie Dolf - Grooming Specialist
Jennie Dolf - Grooming Specialist
Rockaway Animal Clinic is very fortunate to have Jennie Dolf as our experienced and compassionate groomer. She has certifications as a groomer, veterinary technician, animal control officer as well as an airport K-9 handler.

Jennie’s passion is in dealing with animal behavior. “Without proper communication between me and my clients (cats and dogs), confided trust is never granted. I create a bond and begin a sound relationship with each client so that the experience of grooming will be something your pet actually looks forward to. I have had many wonderful experiences with behavioral issues that have been encountered in other facilities due to my ability to gain your pet’s trust. My goal is not to just give your pet a therapeutic massage with our deep cleansing shampoos and conditioners while in the tub, but a gentle fluff dry as well as a picture perfect haircut.”

Clients have been extremely happy with Jennie’s ability to instantly gain the trust of their pet on the first meeting. One client states, “When I arrived at Rockaway Animal Clinic I was very nervous because my dog is very difficult. I was immediately impressed when Jenny quietly approached my dog, Pro, and sat on the floor next to him. She gently put her hand in front of his nose and let him smell her for about 10 minutes. She calmly spoke to him in an unhurried way. I waited for awhile to make sure Jenny didn’t need me to assist her with Pro and she never came out. Upon my return, he strutted out looking happy with his cute orange scarf….he looked so handsome and he knew it too!!”

Feel free to stop by and meet Jennie before you make your appointment. Our grooming clients are always reassured to know there is always a veterinarian on hand. Since we are also a boarding facility, we are happy to keep your best friend for the day. Grooming can also be done while boarding or when in for an annual exam or any other visit with the doctor. Please be sure to call the clinic to schedule a visit or appointment with Jennie at 973-627-0789!
